Part 1: Product Overview
Flake graphite is a representative form of natural crystalline graphite, named for its fish-scale-like appearance. It belongs to the hexagonal crystal system with a typical layered structure. Composed of carbon, it is one of the three natural allotropes of carbon (the other two being diamond and coal), and is mainly found in metamorphic rock deposits.
Our flake graphite products are made from high-quality graphite ore through flotation, purification, pulverization, classification and other refining processes. They feature complete crystallization, thin flakes with good toughness, and excellent physical and chemical properties.
According to fixed carbon content, the products are divided into four series:
- High-purity graphite: ≥99.9%
- High-carbon graphite: 94%–99%
- Medium-carbon graphite: 80%–93%
- Low-carbon graphite: 50%–75%
Particle size is adjustable from 1 μm to 500 μm.
Core Value of Flake Graphite
As one of the non-metallic materials with the best electrical and thermal conductivity in nature, flake graphite has become an irreplaceable strategic non-metallic mineral in modern industry - ranging from basic refractory materials to cutting-edge new energy fields - thanks to its outstanding high-temperature resistance, self-lubrication and chemical stability.
Part 2: Core Advantages and Characteristics

Ultra-high Temperature Resistance & Stable Performance
Melting point reaches 3650 °C, making it one of the most heat-resistant materials known. It works stably for a long time in an inert atmosphere, serving as an ideal basic raw material for high-temperature refractories.

Excellent Electrical & Thermal Conductivity
It ranks first in electrical conductivity among non-metallic materials. Its thermal conductivity is comparable to copper and silver, much higher than ordinary metals. Suitable for heat dissipation, conduction and other special functional fields.

Excellent Self-lubricating Property
Extremely low friction coefficient with natural self-lubricating characteristics. It can operate for a long time under oil-free conditions, ideal for mechanical lubrication and friction materials.

Excellent Thermal Shock Resistance
Low coefficient of thermal expansion and good thermal shock resistance; can withstand severe temperature changes without cracking.

Chemical Inertia & Corrosion Resistance
Chemically stable, insoluble in acids and alkalis, with good acid and alkali corrosion resistance.

Good Plasticity
Excellent plasticity, can be processed into products of various complex shapes.
